ATX Optical is a lifestyle brand and online retailer that was founded in Austin Texas in 2016. The idea for ATX Optical started when the founder ran into a problem trying to buy a pair of polarized sunglasses.
Despite visiting numerous stores and trying on multiple pairs of sunglasses nothing seemed to fit. His head was just too big and the sunglasses (even the supposed "large" sized ones) were too small.
Today ATX Optical primarily focuses on designing universal and functional sunglasses designs that look good on most faces. Even today, ATX Optical stays true to its large size origin even if it means losing some business.
